COMMENT: SW1.9-EMU "The the multplatform version of SID-Wizard 1.9 was quite a big thing for me. Before the release I did a lot of testing for Hermit and the result was this tune. I am so honored to be involved in the test team. SW-EMU as we called it, is a beast, the king of workflow. I've been using that since then, almost excusively. About the tune itself, around the covid lockdowns I started to enjoy making these tunes with cleaner orchestration. It is basically a bass synth, a melody line and a drum sequencer. I record these on a synth then convert into a C64 tune with SWMconvert.exe. It adds a little personality to the playing as I play the parts a little different from beat to beat I guess. 3 channels and that's it. Maybe it doesn't sound as heavy as my older stuff where the SID8580 chip wanted to fall apart but still dark as hell, just a different way." (NP)
