COMMENT: "The inspiration for the tune came from the arcade game 'Zero Wing', especially that noisy rhythm pattern! The song is very short, and features a very fast solo at the end which is one of my most favorite things in the whole collection. In the last part there's a little joke: the tune goes 'lo-fi' (only three rectangular waveforms are used), and some sound effects play along; this should give the idea of someone actually playing a game! If you listen carefully, you can figure out what is happening: the player shoots some alien robots, gets some power-ups and eventually gets hit! I had a lot of fun composing this part, as I had to design the sound effects too!" (GC)
