TITLE: Maniac Mansion, Tune #1 [from the game] ARTIST: Chris Grigg & David Lawrence COMMENT: "I was asked for the demo to compose a version of the Maniac Mansion theme, with it being a classic C64 game. I first wanted to do so at the PAL speed, even though it was slower, and build up a heavy bass line and layer it on top. I just had to add that weird percussion instrument for authenticity just to give it that edge. Later on after the demo was released, I found someone had played my tune on repeat for a fair amount of time on some live broadcast show." (WP)
