TITLE: Air Combat (level 3) [from the Amiga game Turrican III] ARTIST: Chris Hülsbeck COMMENT: "Another MIDI file conversion taken from the Video Game Music Archive (www.vgmusic.com). It was first intended to be a high score music for a shoot'em up from Protovision, but they didn't want covers in their games. Roland and I first put the filter on the arpeggios like Robocop title but in most cases it is best to put it on the bass like we did in this tune. I think this is one of the best basslines I ever heard. It's pretty complex! Chris is/was probably the best German computer zax composer ever. I think! The arpeggios are not chords they consist of 2 notes. Lead is from Dunn's Robocop title, rest by Roland. Hope U like it!" (JW)
