TITLE: The Devil's Galop [from the Dick Barton radio show] (0:36-1:57) ARTIST: Charles Williams COMMENT: This was an early working version of the music from Monty on the Run. The programmers asked Rob to do a version of the Dick Barton theme, and then needed the tune changing before the game was released. The time stamps below are when it's an exact one to one version. "I found this code during research on Rob's drivers for his biography. It was present in the demo code but wasn't referenced from the menu, and had half its driver missing (Rob Hubbard demos tended to have multiple drivers). However, the patches and tune data were intact and could be successfully played back through the existing Thing on a Spring driver." (Chris Abbott) "OK this is twilight zone stuff! I do remember transcribing the tune note for note, since that's what they actually asked for, but I don't recall ever coding it up, or putting it into a demo. After I transcribed it, I straight away set about making all the changes to please them, and get round any rights issues.
